Public bug reported: I was attempted to install Python Poker 2.5, and all parts appeared to install correctly except for the Python Poker server. I was asked if I had administrator authority over a MySQL database (yes), and repeated attempts were made to configure the interface with MySQL during installation. I was prompted for my admin password (no problem reported there), and after a pause I was offered the option to retry or abort. After two retries failed, I opted to abort. Synaptic package manager then finished installing pieces linked to Python Poker 2.5, and again I was prompted to configure the DB access. This went in exactly the same fashion.
