[Bug 493786] Re: unreleased usage of kernel module video1394
Thanks for the help and for your report. I forwarded the bug upstream. I currently don't have the PCMCIA card for ieee1394 with me to test your report... ** Changed in: libdc1394-22 (Ubuntu) Assignee: (unassigned) => DC1394 Package Mainteners' team (libdc1394-dev) -- unreleased usage of kernel module video1394 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/493786 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 493786] [NEW] unreleased usage of kernel module video1394
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: libdc1394-22 Every time I start receiving images from a dc1394 camera using libdc1394, the entry "Used by" of video1394 displayed by lsmod is incremented by 3. When the camera capture is released when the receiving program is quit, the entry is decremented by 2. This also happens when using coriander to capture images. The only way to release the remaining usages was to reboot the system. I would expect the usage counter to be only incremented by 2 when a camera capture is started as I observed in Ubuntu 9.04. Ubuntu 9.10 libdc1394-22 version: 2.1.2-1 ** Affects: libdc1394-22 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- unreleased usage of kernel module video1394 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/493786 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
