Public bug reported: Binary package hint: pm-utils
This has happened more than once, but does not happen everytime. When resuming from suspend, the monitor resolution is lower than when it was suspended. The result is I have no access to the toolbar (mine is only at the bottom of the screen, I removed the one at the top). Sorry if this is the wrong package, but I had three to choose from and this sounded like the likeliest candidate. I have no idea why resuming from suspend should change the resolution of the screen. I upgraded from 9.04, which had upgraded from 8.10. I never tried under 9.04, since I wasn't on it very long and 8.10 wouldn't connect the wifi, so I never used it. That means I can't tell you if it is unique to 9.10 or not. cpu q6600 mobo gigabyte ep45-ds3l video ati 2400pro 4G ram ProblemType: Bug Architecture: amd64 Date: Tue Dec 8 09:07:13 2009 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.10 NonfreeKernelModules: fglrx Package: pm-utils 1.2.5-2ubuntu7 PackageArchitecture: all ProcEnviron: LANGUAGE=en_US.UTF-8 LANG=en_US.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.31-16.52-generic SourcePackage: pm-utils Uname: Linux 2.6.31-16-generic x86_64 XsessionErrors: (gnome-settings-daemon:1909): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_propagate_error: assertion `src != NULL' failed (nautilus:2006): Eel-CRITICAL **: eel_preferences_get_boolean: assertion `preferences_is_initialized ()' failed (polkit-gnome-authentication-agent-1:2013): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_once_init_leave: assertion `initialization_value != 0' failed ** Affects: pm-utils (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug -- when resuming from suspend, the screen is in a lower resolution than the desktop https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/494086 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
