I updated the title for you. I am new to triaging and I am not sure if i can mark this bug complete unless we can reproduce it using a fresh installation either of LTS or Karmic 9.10. If I am permitted to confirm the bug by upgrading from 8.04 to 8.10 to 9.04 then I do not mind confirming it inside of a VM.
