SFTP works better, but still on certain servers it doesn't and I get the following error: kex error : did not find one of algos aes256-cbc,aes192-cbc,aes128-cbc ,blowfish-cbc,3des-cbc in list aes128-ctr,aes256-ctr,arcfour256,arcfour for encryption client->server This is using public/private keys. SFTP from a shell works just fine.
