Kubuntu Bugs subscribes to all Kubuntu packages and receives all of the bugmail. Hmm, looks like I should have written all information at once. Oh well. I see exactly the behavior that the original poster does. I go to systemsettings to change the resolution but when I click "apply", nothing happens. I've done a strace -f systemsettings > /tmp/sys-trace 2>&1which is attached. I'll be happy to provide additional information if needed. If so could you please provide more information on what version of Kubuntu you are having problems adjusting the resolution? Is this actually in the installer (Ubiquity) or on the DesktopCD?
