[Bug 498489] Re: Firefox not accessible to Orca if run from keyboard shortcut
This bug seems to have gone away! I did a clean reinstall of Ubuntu Lucid Alpha, and updated, and then set keybindings including firefox. Launching firefox from a keyboard shortcut now seems to work just fine. ** Changed in: firefox-3.5 (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete = Invalid -- Firefox not accessible to Orca if run from keyboard shortcut https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/498489 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Setting to Incomplete pending answering of the last question by the reporter. @hammera There's no need to assign a bug to yourself if you are not fixing it. ** Changed in: firefox-3.5 (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed = Incomplete ** Changed in: firefox-3.5 (Ubuntu) Assignee: Attila Hammer (hammera) = (unassigned) -- Firefox not accessible to Orca if run from keyboard shortcut https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/498489 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

I can confirm this bug. If no one else is available to fix this for Lucid, then assign it to me. Bill, your system does'nt solving the at-spi, pyatspi updates the problem? The problem is present your system after you installed the actual updates and restart the system? Yes. This bug is probably related, but it still happens on my system, even after the pyatspi fix.
