Hi

Based on the information provided it looks like you are using eclipse
3.2.2, which is badly outdated. I recommend upgrading to eclipse 3.5.1
(which will require that you upgrade your system to Ubuntu Karmic/9.10).
If you upgrade, you may have to remove or rename your ~/.eclipse, as
older versions (incl. 3.2.2) would extract shared libraries into
~/.eclipse, causing the new one to use these instead of the ones it
should (leading to crashes).

If you are unable to upgrade your system and eclipse at this time; we
will need some log files to narrow down the issue.
