[Bug 501233] Re: GDecrypt broken when installed alongside Truecrypt 6.3a
I realize this is ~2yr. old, I am looking at other bugs reports in gdecrypt. Ubuntu 9.10 is out of support since April 30, 2011, I suppose you have upgraded since. Truecrypt is also now at version 7.1. Marking as invalid. If you can reproduce this with the latest stable release of Ubuntu or its current development release, please open a new bug. At t he moment of this writing another bug prevent gdecrypt from working at all, see Bug #872967. ** Changed in: gdecrypt (Ubuntu) Status: New = Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/501233 Title: GDecrypt broken when installed alongside Truecrypt 6.3a To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gdecrypt/+bug/501233/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Additional Update... - It is possible to install Truecrypt 6.3a first and then install GDecrypt 0.7.2.2 without encountering any install errors. However, GDecrypt will still be broken. You will still receive the following error when attempting to mount a LUKS partition with GDecrypt ... *GDecrypt fails to mount LUKS partitions. Errors received* ... No truecrypt support available (unsupported version)! ...
