I have to agree with Chris, there is no OpenOffice.org2 packages in Ubuntu 9.10 even if you follow the steps shown. May I ask why you want to install OpenOffice.org 2? Because on LiveCD of Ubuntu 9.10 it's the latest version of OpenOffice (OO).
