[Bug 50657] Re: [dapper drake] mousewheel acting as button1[up] and button2[down]

2006-12-19 Thread Andrew Ash
Thanks for the bug report. I guess the solution would be to try
disconnecting and reconnecting the mouse so it can be redetected. If it
becomes a problem again, please feel free to reopen this bug and we'll
see what we can do.

[Bug 50657] Re: [dapper drake] mousewheel acting as button1[up] and button2[down]

2006-06-23 Thread Müschback
** Description changed:

- Hi,
-
- after I updated to Dapper Drake my laptop mice doesn't support scrolling
anymore. Instead of scrolling it behaves like clicking when scrolling up and
pasting when scrolling down.
- xev confirms this behaviour - up --> button1, down --> button2
-
- I'm not an expert in linux, so i tried to modified it by xmodmap. Also I
- tried several options in xorg.conf (set protocol to auto, limit to 5
- button mice,...) but nothing works.
-
- When trying to use the USB-mice (Genius mini traveler) it is not
- recognized by system.
-
- Thanks in advance!
+ USB mice is working fine now! Don't know why, but the last time i
+ plugged it on during runtime, it doesn't work also not after restarting
+ my laptop...
