Hi! Thanks for your bug report. Due to a transition from webkit to gtk based views, the bug you describe is no longer present in the latest development version of software-center. It also seems that it was solved in Ubuntu 10.04 as well (by comments and by a limited range of the bug numbers of the duplicates). Please continue to report any bugs you may find in software-center. I've got also this problem I'm using the 10.04 alpha2 from the com! I got this error also. Software Center said that it was waiting for other package installers to quit or something like that and then it crashed.(Apport came up, but software center stayed open). When I went on the command line and tried to run sudo apt-get install flashplugin- installer, I got the error E: dpkg was interrupted, you must manually run 'sudo dpkg --configure -a' to correct the problem.
