[Bug 513857] Re: fbreader "add file to library" button does not work
I agree that the library mechanism in fbreader is very clunky. It seems like there are two bugs here. The first is that fbreader doesn't seem to save the library until after other settings are created, which I cannot replicate. The second is that the entire library function needs to be re-thoughtout. Would that be a correct assessment? With regards to the actual bug, are you still seeing it with 10.04 released? I realized it the same version of fbreader, but I as I mentioned, I cannot replicate your bug. ** Changed in: fbreader (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- fbreader "add file to library" button does not work https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/513857 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 513857] Re: fbreader "add file to library" button does not work
This is apparently not a bug but a limitation of the program. The "add file to library" button does not work until you have set other settings. The problem is only that the pop-up information box that should tell you that is blank, and you have to figure it out for yourself. The library option itself has flaws. For instance, I set it to /home/myname/ebooks and it sent me to /home/myname and I had to set it from there. And there should be an option to load more than one book at a time into the library. I have 50+ books, and loading them one at a time is inconvenient. -- fbreader "add file to library" button does not work https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/513857 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
