Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-system-tools
shares-admin does not currently allow the restricting of a share to a set of specific users. While you can restrict global share access to users on the list via the "users" tab, there is no way to set certain shares as accessible only to certain users. On a related front, you can also not set individual shares as hidden (ie not browsable unless you go directly to their path). system-config-samba can do both of these things easily, so shares-admin should be able to also. ** Affects: gnome-system-tools (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- shares-admin does not allow per-share access rules https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/517399 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
