Didn't upstream bugs still use to be tracked in Launchpad? On February 12, 2010 02:02:43 pm Jonathan Thomas wrote: > Hi there! > > Thanks for reporting this bug! [Bug 521169] Re: Cannot configure mailbox folders
Hi there! Thanks for reporting this bug! Your bug seems to be a problem with the KDE program itself, and not with our KDE packages. While we appreciate your issue, it would be better if it was tracked at https://bugs.kde.org, so that the KDE developers can deal with this speedily and have direct communication with you as the reporter for more effective debugging. Thanks! ** Changed in: kdepim (Ubuntu) Status: New => Invalid -- Cannot configure mailbox folders https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/521169 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to kdepim in ubuntu. -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-b...@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
[Bug 521169] Re: Cannot configure mailbox folders
This is what I had to do to fix the problem: 1. Create the account, and in the 'advanced' tab of the account creation dialog delete all the namespaces that were entered by the 'reload' button and enter my own ('mail') 2. Exit KMail without expanding the new account in the folder tree 3. Open kderc in the editor and locate the entry for the new account 3. in the account section, delete the lines '1=', '2=', and 'Namespace=' 4. change the 'Namespace:mail=' to 'Namespace:mail=/' 5. save kderc and start KMail 6. now only the mail folders appear in the folder list It looks like the namespace dialog does not produce correct config files. -- Cannot configure mailbox folders https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/521169 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to kdepim in ubuntu. -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-b...@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
