I can confirm this is also happening in Lucid when running "hp-systray" -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/526676 Title: [Lucid] PyOS_InputHook is not available for interactive use of PyGTK set_interactive(1) -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 526676] Re: [Lucid] PyOS_InputHook is not available for interactive use of PyGTK set_interactive(1)
This is a bug in open_SUSE11.4 as well starting my HPLIP Program KDE4 krunner/plasma tray icon in a terminal gives this error. Im not sure why the hp-tray is running in a terminal , unless Its not meant to do so, and I specified it to do so. However that still should not be the cause of the error. [Bug 526676] Re: [Lucid] PyOS_InputHook is not available for interactive use of PyGTK set_interactive(1)
I can confirm this in Maverick, but I'm not sure if it's PyGtk or aptdaemon issue. I have a Python script that runs the following code: trans = yield apt_client.update_cache() action = UPDATE dia = AptProgressDialog(trans) dia.set_icon_name("update-manager") dia.connect("finished", self._on_finished, action) dia.run() It gets this error and update dialog doesn't appear.
