Public bug reported: Binary package hint: indicator-messages
Launchpad Question #102229 https://answers.launchpad.net/indicator-applet/+question/102229 seems to have been overlooked, but raises an important issue. If a messaging application is currently on focus, its entry on the messaging menu becomes "dead", with no purpose. It would be interesting if clicking on the item could hide the application, as this is expected behavior (the tray icons for Empathy and Gwibber did that before the Messaging Menu was introduced).
