I guess I have to update everything at once. jsiebold, can you say which packages you updated and what version you updated to? This bug seems to be the same as #555382. According to Xorg.0.log the radeon driver was used in both cases. Therefore I upgraded the mesa, Xorg and display drivers from the xorg-edgers repository and everything works fine!!! I have the same problems with thunderbird 3.0.3. But everything works fine after disabling compositing in KDE. I am running Kubuntu 10.04 with all updates applied. The update to 3.0.3 did not fix the problem. It seems like the GUI does not refresh itself properly. I have to resize the TB window to see any items, but it still displays some GUI artifacts.
