Clicking on the close button, even in an unfocused window, will close the window. Thanks for the screenshot , found where the problem was. My system is fully updated, and I'm still seeing this phenomenon, including the single-button Appearance dialog. I'm unable to reproduce this problem or This problem seems fixed in the latest version of the theme. Also your screenshot shows the Appearance window having only one button , which is not the default.
