[Bug 535142] Re: 82815.i810 with GDM: endless loop of logins

2010-03-10 Thread Bryce Harrington
Hi Dave,

Please attach the output of `lspci -vvnn` and `dmesg`, and attach your
/var/log/Xorg.0.log (and maybe Xorg.0.log.old) file from after reproducing this
issue. If you're using a custom /etc/X11/xorg.conf please attach that as well.

[This is an automated message. Apologies if it has reached you
inappropriately; please just reply to this message indicating so.]

[Bug 535142] Re: 82815.i810 with GDM: endless loop of logins

2010-03-10 Thread Dave Rohde
Bryce Jeremy Thanks even if automated.
Before hand I've had to remove the Checkbox functions as it would hang in the
display section on extreme magnified resolution and the system would have to be
rebooted to free from the lock. Removed pulse and all pulse related files due
to loop file created and regenerating in the /dev/shm folder each 64 MB and up
to seven or more files. However the login loop existed before these removals.
Thanks hope this helps
