[Bug 540208] Re: deprecated comment in mcrypt.ini
I encounter this problem just today, thanks for the info mates. I was wondering why they did not replace it? anyway thanks. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/540208 Title: deprecated comment in mcrypt.ini -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 540208] Re: deprecated comment in mcrypt.ini
Just wanted to add that removing comments is not a solution. New comment standards are semicolons, like those in php5.ini file. thus, replacing # for a ; will do the trick without breaking anything.
With 10.04 I fixed with: sudo gedit /etc/php5/cli/conf.d/mcrypt.ini remove the # character and save file and the message goes away.
Isn't this an ideal bug to fix in 10.04.1? Indeed, the fix is trivial, but it's kinda clueless to release stuff like this. I agree it's not worth an SRU, but let's just try and make Ubuntu work at once, instead of 'after manually fixing these bugs, Ubuntu is great!' :) -- deprecated comment in mcrypt.ini https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/540208 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
