Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: update-manager

When I try to run update-manager to check for updates, it gives me an
error message about how it couldn't capture the mouse. What it does
*not* do is ever ask me for my password. I am using Lucid Lynx, updated
as of today (March 22, 2010) via apt-get.
