Thank you for your quick response. I used the URL you provided and: o installed gthumb 2.12.1 o slideshow not available o checked extensions, slideshow not available o more extensions, slideshow greyed out. o selected slideshow-enable and slide show became available in the drop down menu. o Tried slideshow: black screen, no slide show, couldn't exit (esc,ctl+alt+del, ctl+alt+bcsp, etc.) - had to shutdown and restart the machine. Experiencing this problem in Maverick. Also releases before 2.11.3 are unsatisfactory because the gthumb upload pictures from camera function does not work with all cameras before the re-write of gthumb. Please re-instate the slide show function within gthumb 2.11.3 and greater.
