Hi JK. I just found out that there was a mistake in the thunderbird package, which is why it was manually removed from the servers. You do not need to change the server in the 'software sources' screen as the package will also have been removed from the other servers. Hi JK. Thanks for your bug report. It looks like the website your computer is getting the software files from is not completely up to date. It is referring to a file that it has not yet made available. This should be a temporary issue, but in the mean time please select 'edit' > 'software sources' from within software-center and change the 'download from' field to 'main server'. This will allow software-center to download the software files from a different server. I will mark this bug as invalid because there is nothing software-center can do about this. Hopefully the website should be completely up to date shortly and you can revert back to using your local server. Please continue to report any bugs you find in software-center.
