[Bug 564423] Re: No cursor on resume from suspend
Borahshadow, this bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? If so, could you please test for this with the latest development release of Ubuntu? ISO images are available from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com /daily-live/current/ . If it remains an issue, could you please run the following command in the development release from a Terminal (Applications-Accessories-Terminal), as it will automatically gather and attach updated debug information to this report: apport-collect -p xserver-xorg-video-ati REPLACE-WITH-BUG-NUMBER Please note, given that the information from the prior release is already available, doing this on a release prior to the development one would not be helpful. Thank you for your understanding. [Bug 564423] Re: No cursor on resume from suspend
The problem persists in 10.04 final version. I have Acer 3100, ATI video. I have noticed, that the cursor works, but it's just invisible. If you swich the workspace to anothe one, the cursor appears again. I know, it's wierd but maybe this infornation will help to solve the bug. -- No cursor on resume from suspend https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/564423 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 564423] Re: No cursor on resume from suspend
This seems a duplicate of https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source /xserver-xorg-video-ati/+bug/552246, although the bug appears on each resume on my system (ATI RADEON X600 with 256 Meg RAM). -- No cursor on resume from suspend https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/564423 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 564423] Re: No cursor on resume from suspend
I can confirm this bug on a dell dimension 9100 with ati video, also after an upgrade from 9.10 to 10.04 RC: Each time I resume after hibernation or suspend, the cursor is not displayed. You can see it highlighting objects, though; it is just hidden, as described above. There is a quick way to bring back the cursor : switch to a console screen (ctrl-alt-F1) and back to X (ctrl-alt-F7 or ctrl-alt-F8). -- No cursor on resume from suspend https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/564423 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
