Public bug reported: I'm using libxvidcore 1.1 final from amd64 edgy desktop distribution. It causes illegal instruction when used by mplayer. My system is Intel Core 2 Duo processor. Looking into sources of libxvidcore I found that for X86_64 architecture it always uses 3DNow instructions (in particular, femms). This should be fixed by checking cpu flags that are really available.
