[Bug 567166] Re: Openbravo ERP Info pop-up text has useless characters
In the file /var/lib/update-notifier/user.d/openbravo-notify, the description is: To access your Openbravo instance, please point your browser to: . http://ip_address/openbravo and it should be: To access your Openbravo instance, please point your browser to: . http://ip_address/openbravo Note that only ONE space should be placed at the start of each description line. Already fixed, will be available in the next package version. -- Openbravo ERP Info pop-up text has useless characters https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/567166 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 567166] Re: Openbravo ERP Info pop-up text has useless characters
-- Forwarded message -- From: Richard Morley Date: 9 June 2010 09:48 Subject: Splash screen guidance after install... At the moment you get the following message: Thank you for installing Openbravo ERP! To access your Openbravo instance, please point your browser to: . http://ip_address/openbravo . The default login is: . Username: Openbravo Password: openbravo Apart from the fact that there is no formatting and a bunch of unnecessary fullstops in there (which make it look messy), is there any reason not to specify 'localhost' (rather than 'ip_address')? If it is possible I would suggest we change this to: Thank you for installing Openbravo ERP! To access your Openbravo instance, please point your browser to: http://ip_address/openbravo or use OB ERP launcher from the Applications -- ... -- menu. The default login is: Username: Openbravo Password: openbravo If you would like to find out more about Openbravo please visit http://www.openbravo.com -- Openbravo ERP Info pop-up text has useless characters https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/567166 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 567166] Re: Openbravo ERP Info pop-up text has useless characters
From #568727, by Leo Arias: The message displayed after installing the deb is missing line breaks. See attachement. In addition to that, it shows periods where line breaks should go. Looking at the source [1] I see lines with just a period. I don't know how to fix it, but at least it seems that those periods should be removed.
