Public bug reported:
Important Informations : With nvidia proprietary display driver, I've lot of application launcher in gnome menu bar and the bug is in Karmic and Lucid. The bug could be in X.org, but I believe this is more gnome menu bar that doesn't update correctly when screen resolution is changed. 1. my screen is in native monitor resolution : 1920x1080 2. I go to system=>preferences=>screen (using nvidia or gnome screen manager). 3. I choose a lower resolution : ex, 800x600 Then when I try to click to gnome system menu items, that's like I click on icons from the bar (that are not displayed), applications are launched, menu doesn't open.
