Binary package hint: synaptic
If you enter a search term whilst the search is rebuilding, it will show you
the currently available results.
When the rebuilding is complete, I would expect any new results to be shown,
but this does not happen. Instead I need to perform the search again.
To fix: Perform the search again when the rebuilding is complete, appending any
new results to the bottom of the list.
Alternatively: Do not show any results until the rebuilding is complete and
display a message within the results panel explaining that the results will
appear shortly (or one of those spinny in-progress icons will work too).
