This webcam is USB device and any combination of Fn+F1-12 not work. I have this device and try it. As ov51x is unmaintained then what I can do? What bugzilla write new bug? I read on Debian that main project is gscpa - I must write to gspca? The ov51x driver is unmaintained and will be removed from the debian archives (see Debian bug). Also, in Ubuntu 10.04, you might need to press Fn+F7, Fn+F10 or some other F key to enable the webcam.
