Fabio is right... There must be other issues to this bug. ffplay (Version 0.5.1) does not play videos correct Other Videoplayer (vlc, dragonplayer) shows Videos correct. Dan, I do suspect there is something else going on here. I have a video which plays reasonably well on melt on my Archlinux system while displays only garbage in Ubuntu 10.04. That's why I reported the issue here on Ubuntu issue tracker. Do you remember file 2010-03-25-105206.ogv we both were able to play? Melt is actually able to display correctly other kind of videos.
