+ Original Reporter Comments: To create the Word file:
1.Start MS Word.
2.Open the forms toolbar (view/toolbars menu).
3.Click drop-down field icon to insert a field.
4.Double-click the inserted field; add some choices: choice A, choice B,
choice C
5.protect the document (Tools/Protect Document…)
6. choose one of the choices, e.g. choice B
7. save the document (I have an example to attach)
- 8. Open the document in openoffice writer

- expected results: choice B shows up
- actual result: field shows as grey background, but no field value is chosen
- in fact, if you then choose an option, it doesn't display either.
