Have you added any third-party applications to your system? Do you have proposed enabled in the sources? [Bug 577122] Re: can't remove empathy package
It's been 4 months since I submitted this show-stopper bug, with very little advice, help, guidance, or hints other than the reinstall. I removed Ubuntu and installed Fedora 13, which is working. I abandoned Ubuntu for lack of useful response from bug reporting (which, you can see, is detailed), and news groups. I need my computer so I can do my job. My computer cannot be dead in the water for a week, much less 4 months. [Bug 577122] Re: can't remove empathy package
This finger pointing isn't getting my system working. It's been a month since I attempted to upgrade to 10.04, and I still haven't received any useful help or any indication that anyone is looking into this problem. I've been a Unix user since the early 80's, but I've only recently switched to Ubuntu (Koala, a few months ago). This upgrade is the most painful one I've ever been through. If there is somewhere else I should look for help, please let me know. -- can't remove empathy package https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/577122 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
