[Bug 581350] Re: Cairo-Dock Applets are invisible in openGL mode

2014-01-08 Thread Christopher M. Penalver
Takkat, this bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any
activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? If
so, could you please test for this with the latest development release
of Ubuntu? ISO images are available from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com
/daily-live/current/ .

If it remains an issue, could you please run the following command in
the development release from a Terminal
(Applications->Accessories->Terminal), as it will automatically gather
and attach updated debug information to this report:

apport-collect -p xserver-xorg-video-ati REPLACE-WITH-BUG-NUMBER

Please note, given that the information from the prior release is
already available, doing this on a release prior to the development one
would not be helpful.

Thank you for your understanding.

[Bug 581350] Re: Cairo-Dock Applets are invisible in openGL mode

2010-11-28 Thread heike stockert
I have the same problem with a Radeon RV250 card. Non-static icons are
not displayed on the open GL dock on start-up. When I then change the
icon size in the docks setting, all icons are displayed correctly till
the end of the session.

[Bug 581350] Re: Cairo-Dock Applets are invisible in openGL mode

2010-11-18 Thread huschauer
I have the same: ATI card with Ubuntu 10.4. Some icons appear, some do
not, like "Desktop", "PulseAudio", and "Terminal". Without open-gl
everything is being displayed. Sounds like a problem that is simple to
repair when root-cause is identified.

[Bug 581350] Re: Cairo-Dock Applets are invisible in openGL mode

2010-11-18 Thread Takkat
When making the icon size very small (ie 2 px) in the app's setting then
something that small is actually being displayed. Enlarging makes it
disappear again. No use then - but maybe a point to start searching for
the cause.

[Bug 581350] Re: Cairo-Dock Applets are invisible in openGL mode

2010-05-16 Thread lylambda
Similar issue is obtained on an ATI Mobility Radeon X300, Lucid Lynx and
Glx/Cairo-dock with the openGL backend (lauch with "cairo-dock -o").
The only difference are the impossibility to "fixed by reloading the icon
theme".

Thank you for getting back to this. Unfortunately we switched to Nvidia a
while ago so I will be of little help in further investigating this
ATI-related issue. Sorry for that.
