Tests are on Xubuntu 8.04.1 64-bit. Xfce4-panel package version 4.4.2-3ubuntu3. I see a change in the icon from panel sizes 46 to 44. I see a change in the icon from panel sizes 38 to 36. This is a large change. I see a change in the icon from panel sizes 30 to 28. This is a large change. It appears that the panel is actually using a completely different icon file in each transition.
