Public bug reported: Binary package hint: minicom
Using Ubuntu 10.04 LTS 32-bit, minicom 2.4-1 If you run a script from within minicom while attached to a serial port, the script doesn't exit when finished. Minicom hangs indefinitely, until the user hits CTRL-C. Then the script exits and control is returned to minicom as normal. Also, any output from the commands executed by the script are only printed after the user presses CTRL-C. Adding an expiclit "exit 0" command to the script makes no difference. This seems to be a new bug in minicom 2.4 -- I have had no problems running scripts with minicom 2.3 or older in previous Ubuntu releases. ** Affects: minicom (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Description changed: -- minicom scripts never exit https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/585911 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
