There have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates. Ubuntu 10.04 is no longer supported, it would help us a lot if you could test it on a currently supported Ubuntu version. The third time I tried to print the last needed pages (185-225). This time I tried to print from my IBM X31 with 1GB of RAM and a 10.04 32bit clean install (I forget to mention that the before mentioned PC was updated from Beta 1 till today). Also I could see the RAM usage rise to the celling of 1GB the Notebook is equipt with it does not make any problems. Print job finished and RAM was freed in the end. As I have not enough paper to try the whole process from that notebook I can't try to reproduce it there. So maybe it's just a problem with that special sort of PDF and it is totally normal to consume so much RAM while printing a big PDF?
