Works fine on dapper i386 and amd64 and edgy amd64 for me, it has probably been fixed by a new version, marking as fixed. It did this in 32bit Dapper; I think I was using totem-gstreamer. I have reinstalled Dapper 64bit since and it seems to be working fine with either backend.
