The CD burn verify also has a variant of this problem -- it starts verifying, and after verification is 49% done, it suddenly says Could not find file ... Found the upstream bug: http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=119544 I can confirm I still have exactly this same bug on Ubuntu 6.10 (Edgy) (K3b: 0.12.17 , KDE: 3.5.5) The Allow lowercase characters in ISO9660 file names option is what matters. I checked that a CD with * hello.txt with the option off fails verification. * hello.txt with the option on succeeds. * HELLO.TXT with the option on or off succeeds.
