Thank u for the info, I'll try that as soon as I get round to that and report back the result. And Virgil, ur workaround works for me too... -- Pitivi: When converting a video, the result has a black border, even if set to no border https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/591540 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 591540] Re: Pitivi: When converting a video, the result has a black border, even if set to no border
There is a workaround for this currently. Set the video settings right when you open Pitivi, and THEN import the clips, edit and render. Works fine here. Thanks to someone on the ubuntu forums for pointing that out. -- Pitivi: When converting a video, the result has a black border, even if set to no border https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/591540 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

So just to be clear, my goal was to have the same video on the output, just in different format.
