Public bug reported: Binary package hint: vym
VYM 1.12.2-2 in Ubuntu 10.04 patched up to 11 June 2010 After installing VYM, I cannot double-click on a .vym file in Nautilus and have it open in VYM. Expected action: File opens in VYM. Actually happens: File opens in Archive Manager, since it is recognised as a compressed archive file (which it is - but so are OpenOffice files, and they work as expected). Steps to reproduce: 1. sudo apt-get install vym 2. Start VYM, create a sample mindmap, save the file on the desktop, close VYM 3. On the desktop, double-click the sample file just saved. This isn't a new bug really - it's never done this properly in Ubuntu, and it's about time it did!
