To reproduce : 1. Run your ubuntu, debian, and windows box. 2. From ubuntu, try to remote VNC to debian and windows (use tightvnc for windows). Both showing good results : The input (controlling remote machine) is ok, the video is moving (realtime). 3. Now try to remote from debian and/or windows to ubuntu box with VNC protocol. The result is poor. The input actually works, but the video is not moving in realtime, only shows still image.
