This was broken and then fixed again right before Kubuntu 9.04 was released. There is still no solution for this issue. No upstream translations for desktop-* files get imported to Rosetta automatically. Atm for example desktop-kdepim... Hmmm, in that case, it's not a bug in Rosetta but a problem with kde- i18n packages.
