Ok here's a patch. I've used the livecd to add askubuntu.com and ubuntuforums.org to the default bookmarks under the folder Ubuntu and Free Software links. I've then exported this to a html file which is attached. I know it took long for me to get to know all these massively useful sites. On the current bookmarks: Why ubuntulinux.org and not just call it ubuntu.com like it is everywhere else? Launchpad answers should definitely stay! The direct connection to everything else (including frequently asked questions) makes it much easier to operate than a forum. I’m not entirely sure on Debian. If that is there, GNOME should be too. Anyone else think that it's strange that in the installer there are all references to ubuntu.com, but in the initial install, the firefox bookmarks point to ubuntulinux.com?
