[Bug 603718] Re: sysfs: cannot create duplicate filename '/class/net/bnep0'
I'm experiencing this with maverick and 2.6.35-22-generic. I have similar Samsung laptop as the original poster, but my bluetooth chip is 0a5c:2101. -- sysfs: cannot create duplicate filename '/class/net/bnep0' https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/603718 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 603718] Re: sysfs: cannot create duplicate filename '/class/net/bnep0'
I'm getting a very similar error message after resuming from standby, and bluetooth stops working (indicator grayed out). Same results with 2.6.35-12 maverick backport and rc6 mainline kernel too. -- sysfs: cannot create duplicate filename '/class/net/bnep0' https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/603718 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 603718] Re: sysfs: cannot create duplicate filename '/class/net/bnep0'
Hi Zygmunt, If you could also please test the latest upstream kernel available that would be great. It will allow additional upstream developers to examine the issue. Refer to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Once you've tested the upstream kernel, please remove the 'needs-upstream-testing' tag. This can be done by clicking on the yellow pencil icon next to the tag located at the bottom of the bug description and deleting the 'needs-upstream-testing' text. Please let us know your results. Thanks in advance. [This is an automated message. Identical problem here, trying to connect to a myTouch 3G running Android 2.1 (cyanogenmod) via bluetooth tether. Running on an MSI U-100 laptop.
