It doesn't matter if translators do try to maintain the double space, but sure, remove it if you like. >From a translators perspective it's not obvious that the string will be displayed with only one space and so might try to maintain the double space. Sorry for the incredibly slow response to this report ... I don't understand what the bug is here. Yes, there are two spaces at the end of that sentence. I don't know how I did that (it's not my normal style or anything), but it's an XML document, so what difference does it make? It would be an error to change ".)" to ")." here.
