Finally I got thru with a tool which did not work on 10.04 The latest update of Ubuntu netbook Lucid permitted me to create the live usb key from the internal tool located in Admin. Hi Kurt Very happy to find a human on the line. Still the same on September 2nd version!! May I remind you that this a MAJOR ISSUE for this version because on 2 different laptops, different brands, one cannot even boot the system up The official release is, as far as I know, in 6 weeks time and, since the time I originally related that BIG BUG (july 17th), the status is still NEW and nobody in charge!! How can you leave such a situation with something that does not work at all, I'm amazed. I've tried 10.04 on the same key as the one I used for 10.10.
