[Bug 606756] Re: GUI setting needed to disable or enable wake from suspend via mouse (or keyboard)

2013-12-05 Thread John Park
I understand that this is quite old but thought I'd share a really handy
script which provides a granular wake from suspend device selection GUI.
The script and instructions can be found here and it would be wonderful
if this could be implemented into Ubuntu.

[Bug 606756] Re: GUI setting needed to disable or enable wake from suspend via mouse (or keyboard)

2010-11-03 Thread Jonathan Watt
The Power Manager window in 10.10 does not offer options to wake on USB,
or as the original reporter (and I) would like, using finer grained
device selection.

[Bug 606756] Re: GUI setting needed to disable or enable wake from suspend via mouse (or keyboard)

2010-10-26 Thread Glenn Coombs
Has anything been added to the new Power Manager version with respect to
this bug ?

I have only installed Maverick inside VirtualBox so far but I didn't see
any additional options inside the Power Manager application to
enable/disable wakeup using the keyboard and/or mouse. I guess it is
possible that they aren't visible when running inside a VM as opposed to
running on real hardware.

I plan to do a proper install this weekend and will recheck and confirm,
but at the moment I'm not seeing any change in this bug.

2010-10-15 Thread Pedro Villavicencio
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. A new version of GNOME Power Manager is available on
Maverick and we are wondering if this bug is still an issue for you with
that version? Could you please test and comment back? Thanks in advance.
