Evolution hangs on my Hardy Heron (amd64) install when my exchange server is unresponsive. Apply to if you have timezone set to Europe/Moscow it just won't start after fresh install. There is bug in org-gnome-evolution-startup- wizard.eplug just change it to other timezone compete wizard and back to Europe/Moscow. This has been happening for some time now, and I run the current edgy. The message I normally get when evolution is hanging is about the CalDav plugin.
