2008-08-30 Thread Jame
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been
any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue
for you? Can you try with latest Ubuntu release? Thanks in advance.

[Bug 60871] Re: sb-thread is not enabled on AMD64

2008-08-30 Thread Alex Midgley
It does not seem to be fixed in the 1.0.11.0-1 package. This is a
serious problem, because it prevents SBCL from being used with SLIME,
the most popular LISP development environment. I'm surprised it hasn't
been fixed since I provided a solution almost two years ago.

[Bug 60871] Re: sb-thread is not enabled on AMD64

2007-01-25 Thread Alex Midgley
I'm not sure if the SBCL package from Edgy replaced the one I compiled
when I upgraded or not, so I can't answer for sure. If threads are
enabled in your version, (find :sb-thread *features*) will return :sb-
thread.

[Bug 60871] Re: sb-thread is not enabled on AMD64

2006-11-11 Thread incubus
Is this corrected in Edgy?

I can't get slime and sbcl working and I suspect it has to do with
threads in AMD64. It works, otherwise, with clisp.

I will try to rebuild from source, as mentioned above.
